Why Cold Water Diver?
Have you ever wanted to start the diving season early? What about the New Year's Day dive? The Cold Water Diver Specialty course will teach you the procedures for diving in cold water.
What do I need to start?
- PADI Open Water Diver
- Minimum age: 15 years old
What will I do?
You'll learn how your body is affected by cold water and how to detect it before it becomes dangerous. You will also learn re-warming techniques and make sure the proper format is followed. Have children? This course also teaches you what to do if they ever fall in very cold water.
How long will it take?
- Recommended Course Hours: 12 hours
- Minimum Open Water Training: two dives during one day
